Ireland has been a member of the OMC since 1993. The OMC organisation Mondial Coiffure have members in over 65 countries. One of the benefits of country membership is that it allows us to compete abroad at International, European and World Competition level.

To date competitors from Ireland have won over 90 International, European and World medals in Gold, Silver, Bronze. We have also won two European Overall Trophies as well as other trophies at different levels.

Hairdressers are chosen to compete on TEAM IRELAND at International and European events only if they or their salon are a member of the IHF, and if they have competed at National level first and gained a good placement. 

Competitions such as the IHF Championships, The Wella Trend Vision Awards and the L’Oreal Colour Trophy are all perfect opportunities for their work to be seen by Team Ireland manager.
